Tobin has been a very patient and understanding uncle to foster kitten Blue.
Welcome, little Blue!
Blue is approximately 6 weeks old and was given away today by his previous owner; she said that it had to happen today, and she could not keep him any longer. I didn’t ask further questions, but a lot of weirdness has popped up. She mentioned this guy ‘meows a lot’ when it’s time for bed…surprise surprise, he doesn’t like being locked away alone at night! He hadn’t seen many kitty toys before, so he’s excited to go crazy and tear up our house.
We’ll keep Blue until he is 9-10 weeks old, while socializing him with our cats and dog, so he can catch up on what he’s missed not having a kitten buddy around. He’ll be rehomed after his first shots and neuter. Is a kitten really a ‘problem’ we needed? No, not really, but I’m grateful we can give him the good start he deserves.
