The BL Type Flange, commonly known as a Blind Flange, is a solid flange without a center bore used to seal the end of a piping system, valve, or pressure vessel opening. Unlike other flanges that connect two pipe sections, a blind flange provides a secure closure and leak-proof seal, effectively terminating the pipeline where flow isn’t required. This design also allows easy access for inspection, maintenance, or future system expansion when bolted to a mating flange with a gasket.
