A random thought: i’ve always considered myself terrible at pretty much every kind of video game (hi gogol i gave up on my first 80 days run in a fit of despair and am starting again) but shu takumi games are mysteriously my one strength. i don’t think that means i’m particularly good at puzzle-solving or however you’d classify aa gameplay, but i am very good at following his particular logic.

An unpopular opinion: i wish mp100 crossovers focused more on the psychics!! you’d think that’d be the point!!

My canon OTP: does ace attorney even have canon ships. lana/mia.

Non-canon OTP: i know UNNECESSARY FEELINGS seems like it would be more on brand for me but it’s klapollo

4. Favourite ship?i mean, THYRSUS in terms of visual aesthetic, sky reflected in mirrors in terms of overall conceit, but also shoutout to seance for making easily my favorite post-miracle planet.

Favourite underrated character?i was a big fan of lily lysander! or...... volition...? more axioms PLEASE. i was excited when they introduced ache and kind of disappointed we didn't get more--sure, i know you all feel bad about advent, but that was like three months ago. there's gotta be something more calcified, right?

10. Favourite episode?HUGE soft spot for animal out of context in part because i was entirely taken by the tower game mechanics. otherwise... splintered branch, ringing bell pt 3, twilight mirage 00... the order of things? miracle of the mirage pt 1?

12. Favourite holiday special?sldfkj having just the two seasons to draw from is really cramping my style here. b oth? kingdom game is more collaborative, and really true to the "draw a map, leave blank spaces" directive, also the PCs all kill it..... ON THE OTHER HAND miracle of the mirage has, an abundance of great moments (grand facing independence, "death" of empyrean, sho confronting the cadent) and ends with the planet-ship fusions which (despite the fact that that sequence is emblematic of how large chunks of the special felt a little choose-your-own-adventure in a narrative map of austin's design) is. ENTIRELY my jam.

2. Would you prefer to live in the country or the city? oh man. I have spent the vast majority of my life in the suburbs and am underqualified for this question. City, by a little bit??? I do think about running away to the Santa Cruz mountains, but I would get lonely and am only so-so at driving winding roads.

5. What was your favourite book as a child? Pratchett and Tamora Pierce from fourth grade onwards; before that, the whole Wizard of Oz series, Weslandia, Need A House? Call Ms. Mouse, Where’s Waldo, especially the time-travel one. 

Harry Potter, also! For a second I lived in a world where Harry Potter didn’t exist. When I was about 7, my mom was reading the first Harry Potter book to my little brothers, and I interrupted her attempt to gracefully elide the unicorn death by reciting the scene word for word, at a shout, from the next room. 

45. What is your most used emoji? Probably the heart! Or the sparkle, or the little celebration popper dealie. I almost always use emojis for exuberance. My favorite negative emoji is the upside-down smiley face.
