I completely agree. I almost wrote a post about it but everyone seems to be lifted by seeing her smile, so I didn't want to ruin it but as someone who performs happiness on the reg... this clip sort of made me sad? It was too much, too soon for me to buy it as genuine and the idea of the layers of sadness underneath and the fact nobody around her can clock it, it just makes me wonder how often she's felt the need to do that to hone her skills so well.
yeah exactly. i see everyone be happy that she’s smiling and sure, it’s nice to see her smile, but i wonder if anyone else sees the performance aspect of it? i know there are a lot of mentally ill folks in the fandom: are they seeing it at all or is it just me and you?
