Whispers of the clan:

Wetscratch padded up to Goldspeck, his eyes flitting back to the medicine cat den. "Can you make sure the patrols don't push themselves too hard? It's proving to be a very hot greenleaf, and Hazelkit and Fidgetgale have heat stroke." Goldspeck nodded.

"Of course. I'll make sure the kits and Jaggedspeck have plenty of water." Wetscratch's whiskers twitched. He was used to the she-cat paying such close attention to her warriors that he was honestly a bit surprised she thought of them.

"I don't want to play I want to learn how to hunt!" Hazelkit squeaked indignantly as Floodcall batted a leaf towards her.

"Oh, don't be such a furball. This is hunting practice. I'll show you how to stalk!" The warrior got into the hunters crouch, and sprang foward- scooping up the leap in her paw.

"How about you try it?" Floodcall placed the leaf down and trotted over to the kit. She let out a small mrow of amusment seeing the kit's awkward stance.

"Close! But if you try it this way..."
