Hi! First of all, I wish you an amazing 2015.
For me, 2014 has been the best year of my life so far. The long hours spent studying paid off and my exams went well. I’ve lived great experiences, they made memories, and tough times, they helped me learn. I’ve discovered more about myself including what I want and what I don’t need. I started high school and had to make new friends. Right now, I’m trying to get closer to my friends and building strong friendships is one of my main focuses.
As for my tumblr life, 2014 has been a rad journey. I started the year as a fresh blog named freshyze and reached my first thousand in early March. After making countless changes, including making my url sorbaie, I have reached 2k, settled for saessy and I now reblog various posts from fresh to indie. To those who are following me, thank you! I’d love to know more about you :3
I’ve discovered the best blogs and the greatest owners. If I had to choose only one, it would be Farah (muhfin) without a doubt. We met in real life last June for the first time and spent the day together last Tuesday! It’s amazing how your online friends can become one of your closest in life. Also, Eileen (baylenciaga), whom I have known all my life, has been a super friend :) I can’t count her as an online one because she’s much more than that. I still wanted to add her since she has a gorgeous blog ;) We’ve managed to see each other 3 times and I hope we’ll have as many opportunities this year. I’ve also been good friends with Katy (freaki), Rebecca (goldvera), Millie (wohw) and more. See the blogs I tagged for others.
Take this new year as a chance to start fresh. This past year has been pretty hectic for all of us. It might have finished in a bad way for some of us but look at what we’ve achieved! The person you were last year has grown so much and made you who you are today. We’ve made changes and have learned lessons. It leaves us less mistakes to make in 2015!
During the next year, don’t forget to be happy and concentrate on the people who are there for you no matter what. Get rid of the negativity, sad thoughts and people who aren’t worth your time. Your are fierce and as important as anybody else in this world. Leave your superficial friends and don’t be afraid of loneliness because you’ll never be completely alone. Be friendly with others and you won’t be the only person at your lunch table, you will have company during break time. Some person you’ve barely acknowledged could your next best friend. Take chances.
Setting goals is good but not essential. Don’t set yourself impossible challenges; making it through 2015 is just enough. I suggest you concentrate on every day’s little things. Be happy, be nice, be kind, follow your feelings, keep being positive and don’t let anything bring you down. Be who you want to be.
Once again, Happy New Year from Hampshire, England, and make the best of 2015 x
