Late the previous night, a neatly folded note was slid underneath the door of Room D204 of the Inner Apartments on Leuda. Inside of the note read as such:

As per his usual routine, Skye spent his daylight hours getting his much needed beauty rest. Lately the dry winter weather had been getting the best of his skin, and he simply could not let that happen. There was no way in heaven or hell that Skye was going to let his skin get flaky or break out at all. Due to his current living situation, coming across good skin care was rather difficult. However, Skye noticed a particular woman who had just the healthiest skin he’d seen on a face.

The nice thing about owning your own ship is you can go between islands whenever you so choose. That was great for a party-lover like Karen, since Leuda seemed to be where all the fancy, city parties were. And, if there wasn’t a party, The Underground was always fun.

One evening, after being free of her part time job, she decided to head to Leuda for a little fun. She grabbed a drink at the bar before settling into a table in the corner where she could people-watch. 

It was there a certain barmaid caught her eye. She thought she might have seen the blonde at a few parties in the past, but they’d never really got to have too many conversations. She wanted to change that, because just looking at the woman’s face and blonde curls sent her heart racing and face flushing.

“Damn, she’s cute...”

Where Shea was raised, there were many gods, though not the ones most would be familiar with. There was no Harvest Goddess, as they were hunters and gatherers. Witches were spoken of, but not given any more divinity than a priest or priestess. Yet there were other gods - a god for rain, for hunting, for fire, and so on and so forth.

As Shea turned the meat slowly over a fire, he gave silent thanks to the god - goddess? - of the hunt for providing him such an excellent dinner.
