I don't really drink or do drugs any more, but I DO donate blood, so I get a nice woozy sleepy every 3 months or so, which counts.

Upside of having the house all to myself: peace, quiet, no interruptions, I can do my own thing without interruption. I can cook whatever I want, whenever I want.
Downside of having the house all to myself: very very tried, lots of brain fog, no one here to make dinner but me. Just vibing on the front step with my cat, getting hungry, and realizing there are a lot of steps between me and dinner. Especially because I made sourdough pasta dough last night and I have to actually roll it out tonight AND make some veggies and assorted nonsense to put on top of it. Lol I guess I should go get started…
an intro post, I guess

Postponing This Week's Roundup
Hey all! This week's roundup is being postponed in case I don't have time to put together the list while I'm at the Retreat. Next week will have 2 weeks' worth instead. Thank you for your patience/understanding. Love you all and see you soon :)

Weekend Hiatus-ish
Hi friends!!
So it's finally upon us, the weekend writers' retreat, which I will be attending starting today (Thursday). I tried my best to to get ahead and prep my blog for the weekend so that y'all won't notice any difference (I've even prepped a new list for Sunday! WOOOOOO been awhile since I've had a list ready this far in advance LOL), and I think the ONLY thing y'all will notice is that I won't have an hourly post for the next 4 days, LOL.
The ask box will remain open, but I probably won't get to fic-hunt requests and filler content until my day off on Monday. Who knows LOL. I'll be around, since I don't write a lot on the retreat (I draw) and usually take a bit of time out to file my blog, so meh, maybe I'm lying, we'll see hahaha.
Love you all <3 Have a great weekend :)
(also, as an aside, I'm probably going to take a couple weeks off soon during my break from day-job. Haven't decided yet)
ugh get me off the internet, it's googling-stem-cell-transplant-therapy o'clock apparently
stupid fb showed me an article about how christina appleg@te (fml censoring myself so it doesn't pop up in search results) is getting out of the hospital after like 4 months, and the comments, (why did i look at the comment section) were like "she probably had a stem cell transplant if she was in the hospital that long"
anyway it like maybe has the potential to cure MS? but also maybe it doesn't. you can get in a study where it's a 50/50 chance you actually get the treatment. or you can pay $150,000 out of pocket.
meanwhile I'm looking at trying the MIND diet. something, something, bandaid on a bullet hole (but at least the mind diet has scientific studies backing it up... for alzheimers at least. and literally just now I googled it in relation to MS... maybe it's more than a bandaid idk it's early days I literally just started reading the book about it. a 50% decrease on alzheimers likelihood is nothing to sneeze at tho)
