No one ever has any intention of getting lost, especially not out at sea. The morning had been serene and peaceful. When Taeil saw the calm weather, he knew that he had to spend the day on his boat. Ever since he was young, he had always imagined himself being a ship captain; spending the days fishing and having the sea breeze blow through his hair. Working hard he had saved enough money, and his dream finally came true. The morning when he set sail, he knew that it was going to be a good day. The sun shined bright in a clear blue sky, and the wind was a gentle breeze; enough to keep the boat sailing calmly through the water. When he was a good distance from the shore, he decided it was time for a morning swim. Stripping down to his underwear, he stood on deck basking in the sunlight; the warmth felt good on his bare skin. Just for a second, he admired his tattoos in the waters reflection before diving in. He barely made a splash as he dove. When he resurfaced, he shook his head sending water droplets spraying. Was it dangerous swimming in the ocean? Most likely, but he didn't care. He took a few laps around the boat, warming up his muscles. Peacefully he floated on the waters surface, letting the water gently lap over his torso. He finally hauled himself back onto the deck when he felt a small shiver running through his body. Sprawled out on the deck, he covered his face with his arm. For a long time he laid there, clothes forgotten and skin exposed to the sun. With the gentle swaying of the boat he couldn’t help but doze off...
When he woke up, the sun was in the middle of the sky, meaning morning had already passed. Still drowsy from sleep, he took in his surrounding. Nothing but vast blue waters laid stretched no matter which way he turned. Giving a little smirk and running his hand through his hair, he returned to the wheel, unfazed. He was in his element, and nothing could be better.
