what’s killing me about this is the fact sully uses the term “irreplaceable partner” in the japanese version towards him, so i’m just imaging this sort of scenario should she figure it out.

“Well, yeah, for what I trained him for. Providing me quick mobility to fight out there, keeping any peeping toms in check when the ladies are in the baths. But he’s a horse. It’s trouble if he gets spooked in the heat of battle. Guess who I’d have to rely on then for my back? What about outside of the battlefield? Who is it I’ve been training with all these years, walking the same path to hone our skills and body? Who I can walk into town with and lightly squabble about which furball is more cute from the new available pets of the month.”

“Ha ha, all right, I get it. Sorry Sully, I guess that was pretty silly.”
