Coronis had to put in a little effort to assure Astaroth things had calmed down. Perhaps he had been extra nervous from the near assault by Blitz, but after he'd left, she'd promised him repeatedly that she'd established his boundary and that he would not bring her any harm or re-enter the estate.
It had only been okay for her to go out, once she promised to keep a tracking notification on her cell phone...and promising not to try and convince Astaroth to let Blitz visit.
In truth, Coronis doubted the opportunity would ever come. Blitz had likely passed on her expressed wish to help Stolas as a supplier, but she had not heard back yet. She didn't want to send an additional package without expressed consent, and Stolas himself could send a letter to the estate without issues to ask for what he needed next. For now, she was taking advantage of this opportunity to get out of the house.
She'd eased up on drinking, at least, not the amount she was several months ago. The shifting changes in what had happened due to Duke Dantalion's actions had recovered somewhat, thanks to Astaroth's comforting presence. But she still enjoyed casual visits to bars with tasting menus and light snacks. Enjoying a few samples of wine for the sake of enjoying it, not just to numb her emotions and distract herself.
She'd even brought a book she was working on translating and a journal, noting down translations of passages. The book itself was very old, but small. A book of poems that had only been written in a minor language.
As it had been before Blitz had surprised her, her guard was down, and she was relaxed and vulnerable once again.
