        black eyes meet hers, encircled by the beige smear of a face mask that can never hope to match the beautifying effects of the venom in him. still the rosey scent and the opportunity to spend an evening beautifying with his adoptive mother is much too strong of a draw for the boy. the mask creases ever so slightly as cheeks dimple with a crooked grin. in a movement graceful as an angel and blindingly fast alec rises from his perch on the couch, flitting to her side and pressing a gentle kiss to the hand he scoops from her lap. his black silk dressing gown flutters around his toes and is hiked back atop his pale shoulders before he flits back to his seat, returning with his cigarette in hand.  ‘ well why dont you just banish dad to chicago more often then? ’ 

alec is very fond of his human memories. theyre extremely faded by now but he can still recall the feelings and the general sense of his memories, particularly how much he adored his mother and the fun he would have with jane when the village would leave them alone. he’s fond of the time he has spent with felix and demetri playing games or driving them crazy by causing trouble and letting them handle the cleanup. hes also extremely fond of his memories of training his ability. Alec is always searching for a father figure, desperate for that connection, and he never experienced anything that matched the pride and warmth he felt when one of the masters would teach him or congratulate him/celebrate his progress.
