17. Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?
I work out of order/write where inspiration strikes first, but force myself to work chronologically when I fill in the gaps! You know, lest I lose track of where my foreshadowing is at or what background characters are up toā¦
Itās why I love writing snapshot-style fics: chronological, but not restrained by the need for transitions.

Iāll do better, Iāll share all of the ideas/half-written WIPs I have right now. I have too many & I want to talk about them but I donāt rly have a place to do so except here

Canon divergence fic where Jason doesnāt stick around to be trained by Talia/All-Caste/basically just gets his mind restored and goes straight back to Gotham, angsts a lot. A character study, more than anything. (this one would have an open ending too)

super secret mystery fic thatās my grand master plan and shall not be revealed jk, itās a Talon!Jason AU, from Dickās POV.Everything else starts out the same, but Jason came back the Talon-way instead of the Pit-way. Think UTRH but instead of going after mobsters/drug dealers, Jay goes after Court of Owls members after he escapes their clutches. Possibly JayDick or pre-slash at the very least? I am biased and not afraid to admit itĀ
Idk for sure yet on the later plot of that last one, I just fell in love with the idea & it got away from meā¦ā¦ā¦.. my outline places the plan at 12 to 20 chapters (depending on if I want to incorporate the Forever Evil āDick ādiesā and joins Spyralā storyline or not) but I only have 1.5 written (Iāll upload the prologue + chapter one once i finish chapter two)

Omg 5 is such a good question, because I honestly have no idea!! I guess if the fic contains a lot of dialogue and random pieces of scientific trivia then it would be mine lol. I am most interested in writing romantic relationships, especially the friends to lovers trope in characters I have decided need and deserve love!! I love writing that first moment, that first realization that they love someone. Itās all about the dawn of romance for me. Iām a complete sap.
