Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?

Ichigo / Grimmjow. Look I don’t... It’s not exactly my cup of tea in the first place, Foe Yay isn’t that much my thing, but having been in a French part of the fandom where it was the dominant pairing and almost every story like. super duper OOC. And just. People being weirdly pushy about it, like, not liking this pairing being seen as weird ?

I just can’t consider this pairing without suffering. 

Has fandom ever made you enjoy a pairing you previously hated?

In that case, no. My NOTPs in this fandom are pretty strong and, well, no one changed my mind about them. Canon even made one an even stronger NOTP. That’s how bad I dislike this pairing. And how bad it was. 

Most disliked character(s)? Why?

I kind of liked him at first ? But then I ? just ? started really disliking him, notably because of the fandom way of interpreting him and the contrast between canon and fanon and realizing that yeah I kind of liked fanon version but canon ? canon is ? a fucking abusive monster that the fandom excuses because love and stuff and his relationship with Matsumoto.

I think I just got super soured because I realized that the canon version is way more horrible than the fanon version.

What is the purest ship in the fandom?

honestly Rukia / Orihime and Matsumoto / Momo are just grade A amazing pure ships. Also, look, I’m like, the only person shipping it around, but Orihime / Momo is a very good and pure and cute ship. 

(no I don’t count my OTPs as pure they, are, like, so far from the purest ships in the fandom, even if they are so great and good and I love them)

25 - How would you end XXX/Would you change the ending of XXX?

Honestly ? Give more time to the goddamn ending. I don’t have a problem with the epilogue, really, but I wish we actually got Uryuu doing something more, I wish e got a Uryuu - Ryuken convo, and I wish more secondary characters didn’t get sidelined (look, even outside of me being sad that we never got to see Shinji’s bankai or a Shinji - Momo VS Quincy fight - Chad got the short end of the stick in this ending in term of presence and fights and I am super sad about it)

Basically, I wish that the whole ending had more time to develop, more focus on Uryu and Ryuken, and maybe more space for secondary characters that didn’t have a lot of focus during the arc (like the Vizards, bc we all know how much I love the Vizards ahah). I guess that the first two, well, Kubo wish he had them too, to be honest. 

Oh and a Yoruichi / Sui-Feng canon couple ? Yes ? Yes ? Yes ?

Let Hiyori meet again with Hikifune and slam a sandal in her face, too. Just. Let this powerful woman be slammed in the face by a sandal because she left her young vice-captain with emotional problems and probably created even more emotional problems.

Also let Hiyori meet with Akon and the whole 12th division. I want ex-vice-captain and 12th division shenanigans. And okay I want a canon interaction between Hiyori and Akon because we all know I am very weak to my OTP
