This was quickly becoming an ordeal. The city of Terra was nothing like what she was used to, what with all the brick and stone. Now, Vanna wasn't claustrophobic by any means, but she would be lying if she said she wasn’t feeling a little intimidated by her situation. At least she had a lifetime to get used to the underground kettles she previously resided in, and the concrete-covered Inkopolis allowed her the choice to leave...

Shaking her head, Vanna quickly decided it was no matter. Despite the unfamiliarity, Terra seemed safe enough. Feeling daunted but not overcome, she continued forward until she saw the figure of a man in the near distance. Dimly, she thought that something was odd about this Octoling, but her desire for answers superseded any worries she had.

Well, this sure was a decision he almost immediately regretted.

If we’re being totally honest, Kyoya’s never celebrated Halloween before (or ‘All Hallows Eve’, did the name really matter?), the most he’s really done was hoard a bunch of candy and stay home. Yet this year, for some unknown reason, he’s decided to do something different. Wearing some random costume he bought and, well... that’s as far as he got.

After the costume became, well, real, he got a little distracted. Using his phone, he looked at himself using the screen, poking at the now very real fangs he had. Not only that, yet his skin looked paler and his eyes had turned red– though the latter made him wonder if he was using his powers at that moment, or the one that he still–

Seeing something in the corner of his eye, Kyoya turns his head slightly, only to end up finding someone... chasing their tail?

     “You’re a musician?”

     It’s phrased as an innocent question, curiosity glimmering in her eyes. She remembers there being past musicians back at the academy, but she was never really close to any of them. Then again they weren’t in the same class as her, so that really didn’t help either.

     Still, she’s always had an interest in music. It comes par for the course considering her talent and all, but it’s something that’s always been there. Considering one of her friends from before the academy liked music and all of what she did do for her when... that happened, it can’t really be helped.

     Dancing relies on music just as much as anything else with music after all. And Alyssa would know that best, considering how much of a part music has played in her life.

     “Ah, I might be assuming but...” she gestures at the guitar near him, “I thought it might be a reasonable guess. Would you mind talking about it with me?”
