THANKS to everyone who visited me yesterday at Pandemonium Books & Games for their very first Spooky GeekFaire! I brought my most occult-adjacent goodies and more -- including my paintings and cards based on Vodou veves; prints of the Nightshade Seed Co. series; Riverbird Comics's Hellbound II (and the art I produced for it in scratchboard); Awakening Comics 1999, in which my story about Th. Metzger's character Hypmogoogoopizin' Man appears; and, of course, my comical treatment of occultist Dr. John Dee. I even dredged up my last copy of Blaster Al Ackerman's Omnibus (there in the middle of the top shelf of the left rack).

My last Blaster Al Ackerman reading on Zoom for 2023 is on Sunday, 17 December at 8 PM EST. "The Curate and the Haint" is Blaster's pastiche of English ghost story author M. R. James (1862--1936). I chose this piece for December because James would read his ghost stories to his friends during the Christmas season.
