Hello Lancer Volleyball fans! I met with Lancer libero Blase Wasser to discuss such matters as:
match vs. Waterloo Warriors
OUA/CIS predictions?
general season/spiritual reflections (just kidding on the latter!)
Wasser wanted to apologize for the quality of the interview, due to a cold he caught over the weekend. He may have sniffled, snorted and cleared his throat enough to raise the question of laryngeal damage, but we sincerely thank Blase for his time and feedback regarding the interview questions.
Next up for the boys will be 'Party-Army-ing' at the Women's Volleyball game vs. McMaster on Saturday, February 15th, while several members turn their attention elsewhere.Â
Greg "Cheese" Simone and Gabriel Burlacu will be focusing on beach volleyball as they prepare for the U21 World Championships. While all the Lancers are increasing their focus towards academics (or at least we hope), senior Shawn Reaume is looking at pursuing a Master's of Human Kinetics next year. Under the supervision of Dr. Nancy McNevin, Reaume will conduct research in the field of motor behaviour in his two-year pursuit of a Master's degree.Â
Thanks for listening and stay tuned for more Lancer volleyball and varsity athletics coverage!
