Trance Idea #19: "Blank"
The countdown continues! Some triggers, like this one, are a little more self-explanatory, but it doesn't make them any less effective or less fun to talk about.
"Blank" is a personal favorite of mine. It does exactly as it implies: wipes the mind clean of thoughts, concerns, anything at all - and leaves it empty, vacant, ready to fill back up with words and imaginings.
What I love most about it though is how it feels. It feels different to everyone of course, but to me it feels so...soft. My eyes unfocus, my limbs gently lose track of what they may have been doing, and the thoughts that previously existed are no longer there. But it's more specific than that. It feels almost like dust settling, or like a snowglobe that's finally stopped shaking so that the snowflakes inside gently fall to the ground. Almost like my mind is saying "Oh.." and finally letting go of all it no longer knows it was carrying.
It's also one of the most versatile triggers out there - "blank" looks different for everyone, and it's fun to see how it differs from person to person, or how it takes shape in your mind versus mine.
It's a favorite for a reason, and I love being held in its grasp. Have a good time with it, and as always, happy trancing (and be safe)!
