 Okay, she had to calm down and think about this. Yes, she’d been suddenly kidnapped with no idea where she was or where her friends were and subsequently forced into a magic school when she’d graduated hers years ago, but on the bright side whoever was behind this did seem to be letting her roam freely in said magic school. Granted, only as freely as one could be on (at least what they claimed was) an alien planet, but it was an improvement over hearing her own voice discouraging her from amidst a maze of fog.

 She hadn’t yet found anything that could clue her in to just how it happened - sleeping magic, mass teleportation, anything that wouldn’t be found in Elrios that could do something like this - but perhaps someone else had. She took a moment to look around, scanning faces for someone who seemed like they had a decent head on their shoulders, before deciding on a somewhat-serious-looking young man to a side and approaching.

Lance was trying his damnedest to see over the sea of heads but even standing on the tips of his toes he could barely see over the tops of some of the larger students. He struggles to push himself up higher on his toes but finds all of his struggling to be futile. He lets himself fall back flat on his feet as he groans and turns his eyes on Keith. Well, it was a surprise to see Keith here, he thought he came along but hey, at least they’re not all completely separated again. Lance puts on a grin and nudges Keith with his elbow once.

“Oh yeah! Sure you didn’t!” 

What the actual hell? Listen Lance still picked on Keith from time to time but he thought they had graduated from this to lighthearted insults and sarcastic quips. Well, Lance can play that game, karma’s a bitch Keith you better watch your back cause he’s going to get you back for this. Lance picks himself up glaring over his shoulder at Keith. He stands back up and brushes off his clothes before he crosses his arms over his chest coming to face Keith head on. 

Welcome back, edgelord, to your favorite home! Try not to let your attitude tear Hiraeth Academy apart, okay? For now, you can go ahead and enjoy your alone time in room 206. Sound good?

he should have figured, considering the dorm he was assigned to seemed to share number patterns with all the other joint rooms, but he had held out hope. what a mistake for him of all people to make.

“you are... in my dormitory.” there was an ounce of confusion to his voice, still holding out that tiny bit of hope that maybe this guy was just a young-looking janitor cleaning up the room before he moved in.

Welcome to Hiraeth Academy! You have been summoned here by a great force of power, as a chosen one to attend our facility. It is within these halls that we hope you learn to better yourself and become more in-tune with the abilities you have been given. We hope that you are able to reach new heights with your gifted abilities!

You have been assigned to Dorm 104. Please find your way there using the map located on the backside of this letter. Afterwards, you will be asked to attend a brief orientation where you will be given your class schedule and appropriate uniform.
