Shinjiro groaned for what must've been the umpteenth time in the past week. He could still hardly believe everything that had happened to him, or where he actually was now. So much of it was hazy beyond recollection, but there were moments that stood out heavily among the five centuries of memories. Even though he had lived that long, unchanged by the insanity of what had happened after Lightning's disappearance and his decision to tag along with Snow -- greatest mistake ever -- to find her, he still had to take a moment to try and believe it had really happened. 

Regardless, at the end of it all, he had gotten to see her, though only briefly, when she and Fang reunited. He chuckled though as he stared up at sign in front of him, written in bold French. Though he long forgot the language over time, now he found himself fluent in it, completely and utterly fluent. Japanese and some rudimentary English floated about when he thought long enough, though through whatever magick had occurred, he was back... Back on Earth in the same era he had left...

He was a currently a student at a renowned culinary school in Iwatodai, and was on a part-vacation, part-study in a suburb of France. Though in all honesty he hadn't done much studying for his class and was looking into rumors he had heard about... odd people with memories of another world. And a majority of them had been located in this area. 

He doubted that he would find her, or any of the others that he could recall in the tatters of his old memories, but he had a whole month to burn before he had to be back. Might as well try to find something. And as he collided into to someone considered doing a better job of watching where he was going. He gave a small grunt as he back stepped, just keeping his balance before he looked up, morion hues falling on the person he'd run into. "S-Sorry about th-" He blinked once. Twice. And took a quick moment to consider that this might just be a different version of Earth... cause he never had luck like this back when he was just a high school student and Persona user.

Joining the military was often seen as a difficult decision, but for Zack... he felt it was just another stepping stone in his life. For so long, he knew he would be a part of it. And in order to pertain his dream, the dream to become a hero... there was quite a bit the military had to offer. Things that could make him grow as a person.

To serve the people of Cocoon, well; wasn't that the direction he should be headed?

He hadn't known exactly what branch to choose, but once things were explained in more detail at his assigned base, his choices were narrowed down. Ultimately he was best suited for the Sanctum's Guardian Corps, and Bodhum had plenty of new recruits to accompany him. He'd trained for weeks, months, before his first assignment was given. A test more than anything, but still something to kick things off as a soldier. Zack and the other infantrymen were all geared up, guns at their disposal as they exited the train, on guard for there were plenty of monsters in Bresha... But not something their commanding officers couldn't handle.

Not anything Zack couldn't handle... he found himself thinking as they began to walk along the ruins of the old city. It was then he noticed he was still beside that girl, the one he'd been standing next to on the ride there. She had pink hair... He had a thing for pink. Well with girls (or so he claimed), so of course he would take notice of her. Their masks somewhat hid their looks, but Zack had a feeling... she was dating-material.

A warm stream of sunshine slipped through the opening of the curtains as most of that burning light was kept at bay along with the ambience of the outside world softly filling the room. A soft grumble slipped from her pursed lips as she tried to force herself up, her body still suffering from a post-drugged state as it mixed with the grogginess of trying to wake in the morning.

Slowly, jade hues managed to flick open, surveying the room carefully around her. Everything was just as it should have been, this was definitely her bed thank Etro she had made it back in one piece. Raven tresses attached to a particularly tanned pulsian had sprawled out in a rather messy fashion compared to the pink ones above her, causing a smirk to rise over her lips.

Wait-- Pink ones?

There wasn't supposed to be pink tresses in her bed. Upon surveying her current state a little further she would have noticed the body beneath her, no doubt belonging to the sleeping figure of Lightning Farron. Her eyes snapped open as she remained frozen to the spot with an arm softly curled around her back, Shivas tits not again.

"Okay... You're in bed with Lightning. Motherfuckin'. Farron. again." Her mind reeled with thoughts and scenarios of what she should probably do right now. Should she just wake the other and act casual? Maybe she should try sneaking out of bed and barrelling down the stairs to pretend like this had never happened? That was a bad plan.

Before commencing an impending freakout the tanned woman stopped for a moment, noting how comfortable the soldier actually was to sleep on. Fang's face was still resting against her companions chest, the rest of her tanned appendages practically wound over every part she could possibly reach from her current position.
