This week’s nail art on my tootsies I’m in the colours of Bladder Awareness; purple, yellow and blue 💜💛💙. Why, you ask? Because this week, on Wednesday, I’ll be having my permanent catheter removed and trying intermittent catheterisation for the first time since I was a child. I’m both incredibly nervous, and incredibly excited. It’ll be a lot of hard work, and won’t be easy. But if it’s possible, I’ll do it 💪🏻 even though it means I’m going through what is essentially potty training for the second time in my life, aged 24!
