History isn’t rewritten only to hide the truth — it’s rewritten to weaken entire generations. To convince descendants that their ancestors were defeated, powerless, or cowards, so they feel no pride, no connection, and no reason to keep fighting the same struggle.
That’s psychological warfare.
When your defeat is celebrated every year — and you’re invited to sit at the table and eat it — that’s not tradition… that’s strategy.
And tell me: is it a coincidence that the Indigenous victory of Vertières in Ayiti is commemorated just one week apart from Thanksgiving? Because I don’t believe in coincidences.
Ayiti has been punished for centuries for daring to show victory to her brothers and sisters — punished for proving that freedom was possible.
And they never forgave that.
