#FlushFriday #ForwardFriday #PSA Dear Ghana- do like India and shame until we end this unhygienic menace to our society. What is development when you are full of shit and piss at every corner? Beyond the uncivilized nature of these public acts of defecation are the notable effects on health and hygiene. Many of the sicknesses and diseases are caused from lack of hygiene. I've seen more unsolicited penises and asses than I would ever care to see in my entire lifetime. Ask any tourist about the things they dislike or find disturbing in GH- and this public urination and defecation matter is on top of the list! We have been fighting this foolishness since Nkrumah's time- As my mother told me the story of Nkrumah's humiliation when he was confronted with this issue by a journalist and he swore that Ghanaians were much too civilized and did not do such things, and that it was probably the Nigerians living in GH who they saw doing such things- only for the journalist to go and investigate and find the culprits to be Ghanaians! Almost 60 years since independence and we have even fallen further back on this issue to our own detriment! #DieWuFeiAsem There are certain things in basic quality of life that I will never get used to nor get accustomed to accepting, and this is definitely on top of the list! Having smart phones, wearing suit and tie, and building all the fancy hotels and high rises in the world can not make up for this stain on our society . Maybe the people should demand of the presidential candidates to have 1 home , 1 toilet on their agenda or like many developed and developing nations invest properly in public toilets. Ghana actually has many pay public toilets which many are making great income from, but once again the lack of regulations causes more health and hygiene problems. This is such a national issue and disgrace that artists collaborated with UNICEF to put on an exhibit entitled "Let's Talk Shit" to speak on and to this issue. A nation filled with selfish and indiscipline people will always create and elevate selfish and indiscipline leaders. When we want better and do better for ourselves in basic actions of life, it will reflect in the types of leaders whom we create and elevate.... This is one of the many ways in which he's giving back. 'When we started out people always wanted to do the shoots in Miami, Los Angeles and all over the world... We decided that you know what, we will be doing a lot more shoots. So any contract we sign, the shoot has to be in Jamaica. So we can give people jobs and help people...we'll have like over one hundred, two hundred people working depending on how big the shoot is. It must be in the contract that they'll do the shoots here, unless they don't have the equipment. But as long as they have the equipment, it has to be done here, so I can help the economy. I've helped a lot of people, and they always thank me.
