After much deliberation and discussion, we have decided to officially close this group for good. 

We apologise if we have let down any of you in the process of running this group and we’re sorry for any inconvenience caused. Enya, Art and I would like to take this opportunity to thank every single one of you (member or former or even just someone outside the circle) for your support throughout the short months this group has been active. The three of us knew almost everyone since The Manic Heart was still open and it was just an honour writing with all of you. We have seen great friendships forming over this period and amazing writing from all of you. 

Although it saddens us to see this to come to an end, it doesn’t mean that everything here will be forgotten. It would be amazing if we ever meet again in another roleplaying group or even indie rping to write together again. 

Till we meet again. 

Announcement!

It is with a very heavy heart for us to put up this announcement. 

Activity has been on a down low, that we have to admit. Our admin team is seriously plagued with real life problems and we’re unable to carry out our duties proper (promoing, taking care of inbox etc etc). We have discussed this and seeing the situation now, the Black Souls admin team has decided to put this group on a hiatus until the 10th of October. During which, we are giving ourselves time to recoup due to our very busy schedules and think of ways to revive this group. 

This does not mean that Black Souls will be closing down. Activity amongst members are highly encouraged even though the admin / main blog is taking a hiatus. We still accept applications as well! But acceptances will only be done after 10 October 2015. 

This might be a little late but we would like to welcome Art to the admin team! 

Art has been with us even back during Manic days and have always been a loyal player in our group! We couldn’t have had a better person to join us! For those of you who have volunteered as well, Enya and I would like to thank you as well! Your feedback will always be valuable to us so never think that you don’t matter even when you’re not on the admin team!

 As you might’ve noticed, both Aishah and I have been getting our asses kicked by work. For that reason, we haven’t been able to put as much time into advertising and thinking up fun stuff to do with the group. We haven’t had monday meme in a while and we wanted to do a lot more with the event ( which is still ongoing ), but real life has been robbing us of both energy and muse.

So we’re looking for someone to help us out, to pick up the slack a little. One of us ( me or Aishah ) is always around, but doing things all alone isn’t good for either of us right now. Anyone who is interested -- please leave a message in the main, leaving a short reason why you’d be a good admin for us and we’ll check it out.

The town of Blackpool presents the Foley’s Carnival and Circus Act!

With more than 40 years of experience in bringing joy, laughter and thrilling entertainment to people around Europe, the FCCA has decided to grace Blackpool with its presence during the last few weeks of summer! There are plenty to do for everyone! We have carnival games, street food stalls to keep your tummy happy and of course the circus act! Come see the famous snake dancer, Madame Dahomey, the Foley Flying Cousins and many more! And if you’re more than ready to take on your fears, the Murky Haunted House welcomes you to its doorstep.

Dates: 24 - 28th July

Admin notes:  

You can post a gif para starter (or even a gif chat would be fine too) about your character going to the carnival or even post a para open.

Your character can be involved in anything - meaning, going to play at the game stalls, watch the circus act, eating the street food… etc etc be creative!

Note that your threads have to be wrapped up by 11.59pm GMT +1 on 28th July.

During one of the days of the event, Enya and I will post a major event happening during the carnival.
