I wonder oftentimes if people question what my nationality is because of societal stereotypes on what it is to be “Black”. People more often than not judge me as not really being black behind my avi...In real life they do too! Because somehow good grammar and eclectic interests isn't black enough. I digress...
sometimes I see avis and even I myself wonder are they really black behind the avi? I have met so many people in virtual worlds who were “virtual blackfacing.”
Is that a thing? Does it really matter? Should we feel some type of way? Why is the world like this?
at the end of the day I choose to not give a fk!
