rodolphus & regulus // @blackregulusablack // february. slytherin common room.
There were certain things that Rod didn’t stick his nose into because it was simply not his business. What he knew about the Black family had been what he was privy to, by what was spoken to him through his father or through his soon-to-be family. He knew about what happened to Sirius Black because his father had thought it would be a good lesson for Rod to learn, about what would happen to a son who betrayed them. What Rod hadn’t thought about was the son left behind. Yet, without meaning to, he kept an eye on the younger Slytherin, which may have stemmed from the growing something for the other Black in his life, his betrothed. The common room felt rather empty which Rod was grateful for, it was empty throughout the weekend so his birthday had been perfectly celebrated by being practically alone. The only other person he spotted was Regulus, which prompted him to call the younger man over to him. “Why don’t you join me, Regulus? Do you play chess?”
