1:Talk about the first time you watched your favorite movie.
These days, I guess my favorite movie is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, which I watched for the first time probably less than a year ago. At first I didn't follow it; it was late when I was watching it and I was already half asleep. I watched it on an impulse because I always saw gifs and photosets on tumblr that made it look interesting, so I wasn't really ready to reeeally get into it. I just watched it to have something on before I fell asleep. But then, I got really into it when I finally figured out what I was watching, and I pretty much sobbed during a couple of scenes because the fights the had reminded me of some fights that I used to have. It turned out to be a hugely emotional experience for me and I was upset I hadn't watched it sooner.
2:Talk about your first kiss.
It happened at summer camp. It happened with this kid named Stephen who was my summer boyfriend who cried one day because he wanted to skip football practice to hang out with me, but the football coach, who was my cousin, told him he had to go. Anyway, a bunch of our friends were like, you gotta do it! So we did it, and everybody was really excited about it, but it was weird because we were all 11 and 12, so we were being weird ass kids and I dunno. I really liked that kid. We were the camp's cutest couple lol.
3:Talk about the person you've had the most intense romantic feelings for.
4:Talk about the thing you regret most so far.
I regret getting my hopes up about a lot of things involving that guy ^^. I regret letting myself give him the benefit of the doubt when I knew he did something wrong. I regret making myself think that I was in the wrong when it was him and thinking there was something wrong with me. I regret not trusting my gut. I regret not speaking up more. But, I mean, I don't regret being with him.. But that's another discussion for another time lol.
5:Talk about the best birthday you've had.
My 16th birthday was ok. We went to ESPN Zone or whatever it was called – which I believe is closed now – and it was a fun time. I spent the day with a bunch of my favorite people at the time, developed a crush, got a scar on my forehead from fighting over half a burger, had a really yummy birthday cake (I don't know why I remember the cake so well, but it was especially delicious), and things were just all right in the world. I felt good. And I looked cute.
6:Talk about the worst birthday you've had.
My 21st birthday was pretty sad. Like, I literally cried the entire day. I didn't hear from people I expected to hear from, I didn't do anything, I had a really bad day at school, I stayed up late the night before so I was exhausted, and all I did was go to the Cheesecake Factory with my family and listen to my grandmother ramble on about how I didn't need to be eating so much fattening food..
7:Talk about your biggest insecurity.
I have so many insecurities that I feel like I talk about enough as it is lol. In general, I just don't really like myself. I'm trying to get out of that mentality, but, eh. I'm afraid that every little flaw I notice will get noticed by everyone else.
8:Talk about the thing you are most proud of.
I'm still alive. I've been through a good handful of things, and so many times I've thought life wasn't worth it, and I never really talked to anybody about that, and part of that was because I felt like so many people were going through their own things and my problems were insignificant. But I've straightened out my priorities a bit, and transferring schools was probably the best idea I've ever had. So here I am. I don't feel as alone as I did before, and, though I still need some work, I'm still trucking.
9:Talk about little things on your body that you like the most.
I really like my legs. They're not little but. They look good in pictures and nice-fitting jeans. And they get really smooth and shiny when I shave them and put on my fancy lotion. And my calves are strong and my thighs are thick, and they just work. I also like my right hip. I dunno. It's comfy to rest my hand there while I'm lying down. Also nice to look at in jeans. And on some days, I really like my mouth. I don't smile with my teeth much, but when I do, I really like the way I look. When it's a real smile, though, not a picture smile. Also looks nice in jeans. Wait...
10:Talk about the biggest fight you've ever had.
Well...lol. There were several fights I've had with my mother when I was in high school about various things, that escalated very quickly, but I try not to talk about those.. My most memorable fight, though, was with the guy that I don't really want to talk about (but here I go...lol). We were on the phone, and this was probably less than a month before we broke up, and we were talking about various things that I was upset about, and he kept giving me this dry response of "that's not my problem." And he had said that to me before, but that night, I wasn't having it, so I started arguing with him about how whatever it was WAS in fact his problem, until eventually I just shouted into the phone, "SHUT UP AND LET ME FINISH." And I let him have it; I have never torn into a person like I did that night. He actually stopped talking to listen to me, too. When I argue, I usually start crying really quickly, but this one of the rare times where I was too pissed off to cry, so he knew I was serious.
Keep asking me things, guys. This is therapeutic.
