Ron goes to jail but not for very long, just like 2 months, because of the thieving. He gets picked on there because he's just so bebe. Simon is also there (I know the timelines are different idc I'm choosing to ignore that hehe) and he stands up for Ron. They become friends in prison and when Ron gets out they continue to write letters to each other and Ron visits him sometimes. Ron goes to watch all of Simon's cases when he is allowed to return to prosecuting. When Simon is let out, he moves into the Delite home while trying to find a place to stay and then he just never leaves. The Delites are in an open type of relationship, where Simon is dating Ron but not Dessie (Ron is also on and off dating Luke Atmey hehe) and yea. Thats the basics of how I'm imagining this ship would work. (Also Ron would get a rabbit pet in prison. I think he'd resonate with it very well)
I genuinely think they would work really well together and their cases are also kind of similar in a way
I mean think about it, Ron was blackmailed by Luke Atmey and turned himself in and nearly got arrested for a murder he didn't commit, and Simon turned himself in for a murder he didn't do in order to protect Athena and so that he would be able to keep working to catch the Phantom. Hence, Simon was essentially blackmailed by the Phantom too, just in a different way.
