Romantic Blackkinnon

Okay just in case someone who is a blackkinnon shipper sees this, This is not an attack on You, its just My opinion and interpretation on how I see the characters. So as long as your ship isn't harmful to you and you aren't harming anyone else and you enjoy it, I'm happy for you! Now that being said...

Romantically, Blackkinnon isn't for me. Very similarly to Lilypads, I see them as very (in marlene's case with little to no wiggle room (so to speak)) gay. Like I said with Lilypads, I could see Sirius as Bi but I just can't really see Marlene as anything but Sapphic/Lesbian. That all being said, I can see the appeal though. I could see them in a 'fake dating to appease their parents' whether thats comphet or they actually have feelings for each other is up to you but thats a dynamic I could see.

I love their friendship so hard. I could see them being wingman for each other and going on double dates (dorlene and wolfstar) and getting ready together. Marlene borrowing his leather jacket, Sirius borrowing her Band Tees (as if he doesn't have the same ones) and them doing each others makeup and Sirius dying her hair, I think it'd be so funny if she was a natural blonde but she liked the look of dark roots so like every 2-3 weeks he has to come do her roots (otherwise she looks like she's balding). But yeah, I love their friendship sm and have probably gone on way too long!

I guess this could all be romantic too but I think I might be a Dorlene×Wolfstar Stan forever (although I am a multishipper so who knows)!

Romantic Marylene

Ok so I love them! I will say that I do love the idea of a friends>best firends>lovers pipeline (if you couldn't tell by most of my ships ;) and I love their dynamic potential. I think they could be such a cute "odd couple" pairing, Punk Marlene x Girly Mary will always have my heart. I think it would be interesting to 'see' how they get together (maybe I should go read some marylene fics) And what their relationship would look like more long-term since I only ship them as a 'dated in school but didn't stay together for long bc they worked best as friends'. I could also see maybe Mary having feelings for Marlene after but not speaking up about it but eventually finding love elsewhere.

Platonic Marylene

Okay I know this doesn't show it but I love platonic Marylene! I think they might be overshowered by other dynamics but I love their friendship. I could see them being there for each other and Mary basically forcing all the juicy details of Marlene's dates and Marlene telling her all about them (acting as though she doesn't want to be bothered but she couldn't wait to tell her all about it). I think that they are both so supportive and love helping each other get ready for parties and dates. I think Mary loves helping Marlene with makeup and gives her fashion advice and Marlene helps Mary with her anxiety and encouraging her. I think they're very good friends for each other.
