Just finished watching the #Swoop documentary on the Kardashian/Jenner cultural appropriation and blackfishing. It is INCREDIBLE, and parts of it are absolutely harrowing.

Swoop walks through why the blackfishing and blackface of the Kardashians is so dangerous and damaging, as well as highlighting the cultural appropriation of Japanese and Indian cultures by the Kardashians as well.

They need to take Nicki’s twitter from her cuz she is a hot mess. Going on ig live saying that Leigh Anne is jealous of Jesy when Jesy is trying to look like her??? Ion think so. Then Jesy is a lair. Saying that’s her natural tan when her chest looks red and burnt. Said she gets her curly hair from her dad when both her parents are pale and have straight hair. Said Leigh never said anything only to say that she talked to her about her tanning and getting darker not even a minute later. Nicki bringing up Black women wearing wigs as if that has anything to do with the situation and just being a hypocrite. Then posting all these shady posts. She’s an idiot and too grown for this mess. Where is her PR team?! Her and certain ones are also spreading the lie that Leigh called into radio stations telling them not to play Jesy’s song…How when she just had twins??? And there’s no proof of it. Both of them need their platforms taken from them.

Hey, it would be really cool if you could sign this petition to get the two Golden Globe nominations for Sia’s ableist and racist movie Music rescinded.

If you’re not sure why this is important to the autistic community, check out the petition, there’s a really good explanation on the various reasons this movie is so harmful and will get autistic people killed, hopefully we can start to set a precedent that we won’t tolerate this kind of so-called representation in future, no matter how big the names behind the movie.

over the years, jesy started changing her body because of the trolls she suffered from. she started tanning & tanning & tanning until she would look like a mixed race person (who she isn’t. her own family’s white)

yesterday the situation was a mess. she released her solo debut BOYZ and on the music video she was the same color as nicki (who’s poc) & there are plenty of pictures online of her & leigh anne were she looks the same color as leigh anne. this is called blackfishing.

she never apologized even tho the issue was brought up even before she left the band (cause she looked darker than leigh anne on sweet melody’s music video) but each time this issue was brought up instead of educating herself & apologize she blocked her own fans. leigh’s sister posted some stories on instagram that were directed to her, also other people who used to be part of her life opened up about it. people close to her tried to educate her for YEARS & also calling her out for profiting off black culture (it’s related to what she said & for her song BOYZ)

Despite it all she keeps looking like this.
