Personality details:

Quiet, does not emote his emotions extremely clearly--often has the same resting face. Only smiles and laughs around people he feels truly comfortable around.

Introverted and not the largest fan of social interaction. Would rather stay at home and do his own thing

Has a monotone voice. Comments/advice he gives might come off as blunt, but he’s not mean or rude to others

Often expresses affection to his loved ones through small, subtle actions and gift giving, and patiently listening to them talk. Also enjoys some teasing playful banter with them

So, personally, i think this design is rather racially ambiguous, thats not to say every Black person will look exactly the same, were very diverse, but if i wasn't told i probably wouldn't assume this character was Black without prior context

If your going for a simplistic look, it is possible to design Black characters who doesn't necessarily have any defining ethnic facial features but you can still tell that their Black

Examples: Jo and Florence (Kid Cosmic), Numbuh 5 (Codename: Kids Next Door), and Marshall Lee (Fionna and Cake)

They don't really have defining lips or noses, but you can still tell their Black, not just beacuse of their skin color, because of their hair styles mainly (there are sometimes other aspects like voice\speech, etc, but that doesn't apply here), however regardless its always encouraged to actually add features to characters regardless of how simple they are.

Her name is Emerald, formally known as Android 10. Clearly I have her in a bunch of outfits, but she remains relatively the same. She's Black, and her hometown is based on fantasy New Orleans. She fights, but her ultimate profession resides in ballet

Izari Nak is a magical prodigy blessed by the goddess of blood, the sun, and witches.

She casts her spells through drawing runes in the air, and through bargains between her and her goddess, she has replaced her arms with four metal ones so that she can string together multiple simple spells in quick succession
