I'm entering this national art contest in s few weeks and ive (mostly) decided that I want to do a small portrait series of black girls making funny faces. New dresscode was shared with the students yesterday. The newest vague, stupid sounding rule being "Cover Your Curves this spring." So now I'm looking forward to it being warm out so I can use trial and "error" to figure out what that even means.

One of my photo manipulations was selected to be in this art exhibition for high school students in Saint Paul. Super weird to have seen it hung up next to all this stuff by kids way more talented than me 😂

So, I was worried my hair would be all broken off and shorter after seven weeks with the Marley twists. Turns out my hair is bigger than my dreams.
