Thunderbolts* themes are very real and relatable for urban dwelling singles working corporate jobs or any gigs that mean little to them personally. Yelena's train of thought at the beginning sets the stage for the exploration of the modern life's loneliness epidemic that, despite the manosphere's attempt to claim and monopolize it, sadly belongs to everyone, especially those not occupied with families and partners (Of course one can feel alone with their partners and families too, but itβs even more unavoidable and inescapable when youβre actually alone). Some of the team have friends but none who are in their life everyday to share life with. Being a team is like having a family to them now π
Overall, the story had this focus on the importance of collaborating with people, relying on others, and more importantly, being reliable for others.
Nobody in the movie got rid of each others demons, but are now helping each other keep them at bay by standing together through things.
