Episode Description:
Lisa and Bart investigate Krusty‘s suspicious new “Krustaceans” candy. Meanwhile, Homer wants a promotion at the nuclear plant and asks Marge to help him dress the part, and news anchor Kent Brockman struggles to find his feet in the changing media world.
Episode Details: ‘Trust but Clarify’ is the 5th episode of Season 28 as well as the 601st episode of The Simpsons. The episode will air on FOX on October 23rd, 2016 and is written by Harry Shearer.

THE ITCHY & SCRATCHY SHOW EPISODE!:
“Mousetrapping a Murderer” is an episode of The Itchy & Scratchy Show.
PLOT:
Scratchy arrives at Itchy‘s “Fresh cut Meat” stand at the Farmer’s Market, asking for a slice.
Itchy slices him with a knife and puts his pieces on sale, including his head, changing the sign to “Fresh Cat Meat” and places a “Cruelty-free” sign on his eyes.
The left eye pops out on reading it and Itchy cuts the eye too and eats it, saddening Scratchy.
BEHIND THE LAUGHTER:
The episode is a parody of Netflix’s series Making a Murderer.
The story is a reference to Steven Avery, a man arrested for the murder of a female photographer in 2005.
