{ From my (small experience) drawing and seeing it, it’s mostly colors and lines. :O { Gotta make the skin look like it’s pulled tight and crinkled from being crisped, and then give it the coloring. Mostly go for a brown-red color, esp if it’s REALLY destroyed skin.... Which is essentially what I’m hoping to do with Nami.
{ ...Tbh I take a really anime approach to it (cause I looked up “burn scars” and then “burn scars cartoon” on Google and #AnimeWeebConfirmed), but I mean.... It gets the point across, eh? }

The high tide often brought in a lot of odd items, especially when many boats were on the horizon. This particular tide brought a woman with it. Washed up with her back to the sea, barnacles and rust dotted her legs as she rested, lightly rocking with the tide.
She wasn’t dead, chest slightly rising and falling through her soaked dress. It was short and modern, no tatters or any tears. In fact, there didn’t seem to be any cuts or bruises on the woman, nothing but the sea salt, foam in her hair, and the barnacles.
