👻 — "Brianna." He was conditioned to feel a certain way, to be relaxed, compliant, and whatever else she needed from him... but that didn't change the fact that he was still alert. Aware, for as long as she remained in sight, and thus garnering enough confidence to ask: "When are you going to let me go?"

👻 — "You really shouldn't be back here." Despite the chaos of this week, or this town in general, Matt still had bills to pay and a paycheck to protect. Vampires might not be very tolerant creatures, but the Grill wasn't known for being any better. "I mean it. I'm gonna have to ask you to beat it."

🌙 — "I can't shift." It didn't matter where they were, relationship-wise. Evan didn't know who else to go to. She looked scared—small, even, with her wide and disbelieving eyes. It felt like repeating herself, but she did add, "Something's wrong."

🥀 — "What's happening to me..?" she asked, clearly shaken. Her breaths came in shaky, nervous. All she had done was wish to see Silas.. and she followed the path that was shown to her, leading her straight to him.

🥀 — "Are these kinds of parties.. normal?" It wasn't the fall festival part she didn't get. Hell, even the dressing up and masks weren't unlike the ceremonies they carried back in Greece, but there was so much to look at.

👻 — "That's legitimately terrifying. I think you win." Sexy Freddy Krueger was certainly a choice, but she seemed to be rocking it.

🌙 — "The pretty brother. Why am I not surprised to see you here?" she asked, rhetorically. "Reclaiming your rowdy youth or something, right?" Evan didn't care to know the original personally, but she knew enough.

🩸 — "Let me guess. They forgot to include the shirt." He was being obviously playful, admiring the view (respectfully) before offering her a charming little grin.
