USB 2.0 vs. PCIe is no contest. The maximum bit rate of the Pro is 60mb/s vs the USB's 40, there's less latency so you could actually play straight from the preview window, and you can do simultaneous streaming and recording. Also, it might be wise to consider the normal HD, since it boasts "retro" inputs, helpful for people who can't afford an upscaler.
I don’t actually know why you’d need 60mbps over 40mpbs, really. Like, that Mario Kart 8 screencap I linked in the last post was 27mbps. Outside of some extremely minor color bleed on Wario’s hat, it almost looks lossless.
40mbps should be more than enough for anyone who isn’t somehow doing large scale video production for like, big businesses and corporations. Youtube’s going to crunch it down to the same level as everything else and 25-30mpbs is incredibly sharp.
The retro inputs are nice, but the previous ask was specifically asking about needing something with HDMI. :p
