TikTok is rolling out custom avatars that let users turn themselves in the style of Snapchat’s Bitmoji, Apple’s Memoji, and Meta’s Avatars globally to all users.
To use the feature on yourself, open the app, flip the camera to selfie mode, tap effects, and select the avatar effect, which lets you record videos featuring an animated version of yourself. As well as customize, add voice effects, and more.
TikTok said excitedly to see how people use Avatars to express their creativity and that ways connect the people and create across our global community.
