Okay. This is an Oddly Specific One I guess but I remember on tumblr people were irritated that when Tony was in India he was wearing Indian clothes and I....didn’t get it? 

For the scene, his character was in India participating in what seemed to be a wedding, and I’m assuming Homecoming put it in there as a - whatever the nicer synonym of pandering is (fan service????? ) none of those words are right, idk whatever the word is for when movies put a scene in a different country to appeal to international fans. And idk as an Indian I give it my mark of approval and every Indian I know either didn’t mention the scene or was like “eyyyy Tony was in India” so seeing people irritated on tumblr kind of makes me feel like it was one of those...be angry just to be angry things.

I’m gonna be heretic and say that I really liked the wig -which I’ve noticed nobody does but what I can I say I have weird tastes lol. I read this fic or a metà once that had this amazing line ‘after the gambit, it was years before laurel allowed blonde back in her hair’ - this sentence just blows my mind for some reason. It implies the choice to be super brunette in s1 was deliberate. As a way to distance herself from the person she was before. And then her journey to blonde is like a journey to self acceptance - a new laurel that like teen laurel wants to be blonde but now owns it fully, beautifully. It IS her now, and not just blonde because of what she might look like that way. I’m reading too much into this I know but I love doing it

I mean I feel her wig had good moments esp with her signature hair flip™, but I definitely think she looks better without it as black canary. but yeah I mean that is interesting! I love the idea of laurel going back to who she was as a teenager after wanting to distance herself from the person she was before.

I’m not saying I’d celebrate if he died or anything bc I adore the dude and I’d definitely tear up or cry but like...in the long run? I’m really not going to be losing sleep if the guy dies in the next movie. I think cooler things could come from his death tbh (such as a new Cap in the form of Bucky or Sam - and either way you get awesome rep) and I’ve been preparing for him to die for a while. 

I feel like most of the main cast is kind of trash with the exception of Chyler lmao

One thing this show/book/film does better than others: They don’t take themselves as seriously as the other DCTV shows which is really nice

Actor/Actress you want to join the cast: Katie, I guess? It’d be cool if Laurel was in Legends but tbh I’m not sure if I would want it to be a main role thing, but more maybe as a recurring role idk

Best flashback/flashfoward if any: I loved seeing young Len as a kiddo even though I guess that’s technically not a flashback 

Most layered character: Sara, I think.

Most beautiful scene (scenery/shot wise): Oh I love when they’re in space or that time continuum…thingy. It’s just nice looking. 

Unanswered question/continuity issue/plot error that bugs you: So like…we gonna pretend that Kendra and Carter never existed???

Sorry this ask just brought up...so...much...bitterness. I ended up not including characters who loved each other till the end (like Wes/Fred) or ships that I knew would never be with each other (like Sansaery) so uhh here’s ships that I very clearly thought would stay together and be endgame only to be sidelined by the shows. 

MOTHER. FUCKING. SWARKLES. I will never, ever understand how the writers of HIMYM thought that breaking up Barney and Robin, a ship that fandom loved, a ship who’s entire wedding was the entire setting of the last season, a ship who’s wedding LED Ted to meet The Mother, WHO THE STORY IS ABOUT, would get!!! Divorced!!! In the last finale! AFTER YEARS! 20 minutes after we saw them get married!!!! I will never, ever be over this ohhhh my god I’m bitter all over again. 

Side note if you had to make an “””””alternate ending”””””” that was clearly a 5 minute rush job because fans hated your actual ending so much it wasn’t a good finale. 

While I don’t actually like Ted/Tracy at this level @ himym maybe don’t disgrace Tracy’s memory by killing her off from an unnamed disease and then having Ted marry Robin where both characters repeatedly said they weren’t right for each other and listed explicit reasons why which were never cleared up in the finale kk cool 

Jackie and Hyde from That 70′s Show!!! They were great and the show really went out of their way to ruin them. The last season was bad enough, but making Jackie’s endgame Fez? I would have been okay with Kelso, they had history, but Fez?? I loved Jackie, and I loved Fez, but them together? I wasn’t with it, and it came out of nowhere. I live in the world of fanfic where they’re together and have reconnected oh god I want to read a Hyde & Jackie fic now. 

Speaking of couples shows went out of their way to ruin, Andy & Erin from The Office. They really just broke them up for no reason (even though Andy risked his job and went to Florida to win Erin back?) and did it to do the whole “Erin = new Pam” “Pete??? Is that his name??? = new Jim” in the last season. It was dumb. I get what they were trying to do. I get it. I respect what they were trying to do. I really do. But I also hated it. Erin wasn’t really like Pam except for the fact that she was the receptionist. Pete wasn’t as interesting or endearing as Jim. It felt like a cheap set up and I haaaaaated it and the fact that I was rooting for two disasters only for them to not get back together - that being said, sometimes I think that they could have. It reminds me of Pam going “maybe I’ll date someone, and then he will, and then the timing will be right” or something like that. Like they’ll be together in the future, even if that’s not what the show did. 

I also really love the idea of bi!Andy which I feel was basically canon tbh so him and Oscar would have been amazing (and uh probably more age appropriate than Andy/Erin if I’m going to be completely honest). 

 I’m honestly still equally bitter about these two BS couple splits: Danny/Vicky from Full House and Will/Lisa from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Will and Lisa called off their wedding because of?? Nerves?? It was dumb and then their parents got married. They’re step siblings now what the fuck. And Will just never mentioned Lisa again even though she was involved in so much character development for him and oh yeah, they were going to get married. Also Vicky and Danny had such a sweet Disney engagement and then they called it off and I don’t even remember why they called it off but it was dumb okay. 

Xander and Anya oh my god. They were just??? Really nice and the show KILLED HER. IN. THE. FINALE. She died in like 3 seconds you could have blinked and missed it. They were just. So good and sweet and honestly idk if they’re ever really my top 5 but they deserved better damn it

Also while I didn’t ship Willow/Tara they were really sweet and Kennedy fucking sucked and Tara was amazing so those two deserved happiness

Also I would have been interested in seeing how Willoz would have turned out? I know they said there was going to be a cool Oz (and ultimately Willoz) storyline had he actually decided to stay on the show. I don’t think it’s worth the queer rep we got but still I do wonder how that would have worked out. 

Also special shoutout to Destiel because even though Supernatural is still going on I know this ship is queerbait and it’ll never happen woooooooooooooo

Special shoutout #2 is Makorra. I actually love Korra’s endgame with Asami and while it took me by surprise because I never thought we’d have a queer ship, I loved it. And I was glad because I had been expecting Makorra to be endgame but I was worried because while they were both growing and developing really well as people, I didn’t think that they were ready to be together again. So, I was actually really, really pleased with the fact that they weren’t endgame, but that being said, I still really loved them! I shipped them for 4 years and even though I don’t reblog it as much anymore, it was a ship I adored and continue to adore and ship - and I think that hey, if Asami wasn’t there (or if LOK ever wanted to/had been allowed to explore polyamory) that if they had gotten another season of development it would have been great, but it didn’t happen. 

This is hard because my shows are either still going on or I abandoned them orrrr they ended but I don’t know if their finales were like, that good that they deserve to be on a Top 5s list you know but let’s see. 

Parks and Recreation. It renewed my faith in series finales because let me tell you the only other series finale that I had watched live beforehand had been HIMYM. My other shows had all been done and I knew their endings but HIMYM was one that was ending and I had hope in it and then it was ruined. But then PNR??? I watched it live and I was so scared to watch but it was so perfect @ parks and rec thank you for giving me hope in finales again and that is why it deserves to be #1. 

LEGEND OF KORRA KILLING IT WITH THE BI ENDING!!!!

The Office. It had a wondeful, sweet, and really lovely finale. It really tied things up and set up the thought that, yeah, our characters are done with this office but there’s still a future - and admittedly, I hated the whole “New Jim/Pam” thing they tried setting up alongside that, but I still respected what they were trying to do there. Overall it was great and I enjoyed watching it. 

I must admit that while my love for Friends has severely dampened over the years, its finale was objectively wonderful and I had a lot of emotions over it. 

I didn’t hate the PLL finale as much as everyone else did? Like don’t get me wrong. It wasn’t good. But then again, neither was the rest of the show. It was an ending that was true enough to them and we got a generally happy ending for everyone. Also if I pretend the last minute of the show never happened I could even say I enjoyed how it ended and that it was a truly fitting end. 

Jake Peralta. But of course, I love this man and I adore him a lot and I relate to him and his human disaster-ness. 

Peter Parker! My childhood hero and I’ve continued to love and adore him as I’ve grown up. I’ve just loved watching his story unfold (even if, yes, it’s taken 3 times and will probably be told again in the future lol) but it’s fantastic and I love my (definitely bi) son. 

Ravi Chakrabarti! He’s hilarious and a South Asian character who isn’t a stereotype and I love that. Plus, it helps that I adore Rahul Kohli so you know, it’s lit. 

Lance Sweets. I stopped Bones a loooooooong time ago, but I still love Sweets. He was just a wonderful character who wasn’t really appreciated by fandom (at least on here) and I was heartbroken when I found out the show killed him off but I love him. 

Ben Wyatt!! Also a man who is #me lol. I always say I’m like 50% Jake and 50% Amy and that’s basically 100% Ben Wyatt so. You know.
