I love you

Red Pilot is definitely a man of his own making. His name is Richard "Ricky" Pierce. Eldest of four, he's been self sufficient most of his life. He loves his siblings, but never took on that nurturing role. His younger sister always ended up helping take care of the two smaller Pierce children.

Pilot is not and never was one to click with people easily. He's small, scrappy, and loudmouthed. Antisocial enough, sure, but anyone who mouthed at him would get a knuckle sandwich from the eldest Pierce 'Daughter'. He'd been born the eldest of three girls, and then the youngest came.

Rick's coming out story is short and simple. Knew what was off, didn't know why it was off until he got older, parents brushed it off. They'd gotten the youngest child, the real son.

Ricky doesn't talk to his family, really.

He ends up dropping out of high school and joining the Air Force. Not only miserable, but unskilled. Planes are a beast he doesn't know how to tame. Thus, ends up under the Administrator.

Upon the choice of weapons he's given, he chooses a minigun as large as himself. The thing blows him backwards like a leaf at first, so he learns it. Time goes on, he ends up at Tufort with the red team, and thus he meets his 'group', so to speak.

He's shy at first. Hovers near Pyro because they don't speak too much, but after a week he has to tap out. Too many monstrosities behind the mask. Reluctantly, he learns the team.

He likes Maid ( @chainsawcadet 's oc) at first, almost seeing her as the older sister he so desperately wishes he had. And then moves on to hovering around Sniper. He's quiet.

Of course, at the end of it all, Rick finds his spot in the team and all the sappy bullshit comes to fruition. I'm too lazy to write out the sniperpilot storyline atm.
