Scenes From My Early Walk - Curved Billed Thrasher! This Curved Billed Thrasher was calling me it seems. In the video the sound you hear, is this bird. He moved closer until he was in the juniper in the photo. That was just a bit to my left. So I turned, thought I saw something. Zoomed in a bit and saw a bird. Scenes From My Walk - Canyon Towhee (Melozone fusca) Among the best Canyon Towhee photos I’ve been able to capture. At first I thought it was a dead leaf from a distance but then a tail came into view so I quickly got my camera in position to take photos.
