First attempt at modding did not go well.
Now opening gpose comms, with a bit of a twist! More than just a simple gpose, this a package with graphic design work, so that you can have something truly unique for your character! All you need to do is pick out a song to base the poster off of, then trust me enough to give me artistic freedom. Each commission is priced at 35€
For more information, please check out the ko-fi commission page!
Participated in my first Odin fate yesterday!!! Was literally just fucking around with friends when he just popped up, tbh kinda funny. Don't really play tank jobs, so got my chocobo some new swag.
I randomly ran into a friend in Limsa Lominsa yesterday, just randomly spotted their character in the middle of a crowd and ran after them until they recognized me. After that we straight up just hung out for hours, shouting the shit in party chat, emoting back and forth, going on the fishing boat, doing some people watching...
I knew this person before FFXIV, even if they're one of the very few online friends that actually live in my country, we still live hours away from one another. Idk, as someone who don't really have a lot of close friendships IRL, being able to "physically" hang out with friends through FFXIV has been a really liberating experience, that brings me a lot of joy.
Like I tried to get into this game multiple times, and it failed every time until now, but having people I'm already close with guiding me through it, hanging out with me online, doing silly activities, VC... I think that's when I really "got" it? FFXIV is by no mean my first MMO, I used to hang out quite a bit in Wakfu back when I was a kid. But it never really clicked with me, because I didn't really have any people to share the experience with since I was (and still am) a really awkward person, who didn't dare to talk to most people onlines. Some of my best memories of online worlds were the ones with nonverbal communications, like Sky:COTL, where most friendships are fleeting and based on a few emotes, or Splatoon with the random squid party with strangers.
But like with FFXIV? I get it. I think. I get why people are so obsessed with this game, why they get so involved in MMORPGs. And I'm glad I can finally be part of this experience.
