As early Christmas presents we each got a Pak-o-bird backpack for Niji and Zazu! Now we’ll be able to take them on some outside adventures 😊 Here’s Happy modelling Niji’s backpack and Zazu helping me set up her’s.

would you recommend making a bird backpack for the back or for the front?
I wouldn’t recommend making one, it would be so easy for stitching to come loose or a bird to chew through it unlike with factory settings where machines can make seams much tighter and use much stronger/ thicker threads. The celltie pak-o-bird is a good brand to be looking at, most sizes are universal front/ back/ side wearing, made of very strong, durable materials. I don’t have personal experience with them but have heard good things!
Whether or not you wear it on the front or back doesn’t matter all too much, wearing it on the front won’t really allow you to see the bird much better but may give you a better sense of security. Wearing it on your back, however, is much better for your health if you plan on going on hikes or longer walks.
