Recently visited Switzerland and the birchermuesli there seemed to fit the bill perfectly. Played around with a variation of this one.

For a creamy consistency soak overnight in plant-based milk or yoghurt.

My favorite way to eat Bircher muesli is microwaving it for a minute right before eating😋 It makes it so good in my opinion and is perfect for those freezing mornings we are heading towards❄️ Had some this morning along with a steaming hot cup of coffee☕️ Bircher muesli recipe by @bonnyrebecca

Breakfast and a book, specifically Bircher style muesli and Terry Pratchett in the sunshine.

Bircher muesli is my second love right after oatmeal😍🥣⠀ Love the creaminess of it and the taste😋⠀ Until now, my favorite combo is oats, rice flakes, buckwheat groats, chia seeds and flax meal😍🥄⠀ Topped it off with apple, raspberries and apricot jam🍎🍯⠀

It’s almost Christmas!🎄 I have so many things to do and I haven’t even started wrapping my gifts yet🙈🎁⠀ But no matter what there is always time for breakfast😋🥣⠀ Made @naturally_nina_ strawberry and cream Bircher muesli, however I didn’t have any strawberries🤷🏻‍♀️🍓⠀ So I just topped it off with some banana, frozen berries, soy yogurt and chocolate spread🍌🍫🥄⠀ Have a great day all of you!☺️❤️⠀

When I first heard about Bircher muesli I was very sceptical⠀ I’ve never been a big fan of that many seeds🙅🏻⠀ But I saw so many people liking it so I had to give it a try🤷🏻‍♀️ I made burcher muesli first, but that was probably way too many seeds for me at first, so I ended up mixing it with oats🙈⠀ I tried searching for some bircher muesli recipes and came up with my own, with oats and quinoa puffs as well, so it wasn’t that seed heavy and I love it now!😍⠀ It has become one of my breakfasts now and I always have a big batch in my cupboard😋⠀ Ingredients:⠀ 1 cup oats⠀ ½ cup quinoa or rice puffs⠀ ½ cup buckwheat groats⠀ 1 cup coconut shreds⠀ ½ cup chia seeds⠀ ½ cup sesame seeds⠀ ½ cup hemp seeds⠀ ¾ cup flax seeds⠀ ½ cup cacao nibs⠀ ½ cup sultanas⠀ ¼ cup dried figs⠀
