Also today the birds get a baked potato
One of my birdfeeders has adjustable perches so you can in theory set it for different types of birds
So I have two small perches and two big, and well tbh it makes no difference as I just caught aΒ starling hanging off the small perch like βwhat u gonna do?β
In the last couple of weeks Iβve started setting up bird feeders in the garden I can tell you
The bird food is going very quickly
We get a slot of Starlings (no surprise we have a big pop of them around where I live) and I suspect they get most of the food
Sparrows and thrushes, we get quite a few around here anyway
The occasional blue tit
We have at least two robins

the place we brought Sniper to sent it to a separate rehab shelter but when i asked for the phone number so i could check in on it, the receptionist said that was "confidential." basically there's no way for me to check back on my bird child. ever again. i will be left in the dark for all eternity as to how Sniper fares in the world.Β
On the way home after dropping off sniper....... my bird child is gone
we're leaving in about ten minutes to take the bird away.... however i think i decided i'm calling it Sniper
