presented a version of my term paper in my plant dev/molecular bio class and i think it went p well? the professor had some criticisms but overall seemed to like it, and i think the issues were mostly things that are in the actual paper that i cut from my presentation for time so i think that bodes well??
also i got back my midterm which was graded “46/50 EXCELLENT” so that’s. good.
i may be a blasted hellpit on the level of emotional regulation but i will always be good at uh. taking biology classes.
a day of unexpected professional success??? i presented my research plan in lab meeting and it went really well; as anticipated, i was able to stretch 15 minutes of actual talking into an hour and a half of everyone in the lab debating the best way to interpret the pattern of fuzzy lights i was showing them, and people told me afterwards that i did a good job
and then i found out i got one of the summer fellowships i applied for! which, like, my boss was going to pay me anyway, but now he’s very pleased with me because he doesn’t have to. and it has ~~~~resumé value~~~~ or w/e
