Biogas power generation is different from standard natural gas power generation. Biogas is produced from organic waste, and its methane content, gas pressure, moisture, H₂S level, condensate and impurities can vary from one project site to another. For this reason, a biogas generator set should not be selected only by kVA rating. The gas quality, operating hours, load conditions and site environment should be reviewed before final configuration.

Enerzip offers two main biogas generator set ranges:

E Series Biogas Generator Sets – 20–250 kVA Suitable for farm-scale and distributed biogas projects, including livestock farms, rural cooperatives, agricultural digesters and small food processing facilities. This range focuses on simple operation, practical maintenance and lower investment cost.

C Series Biogas Generator Sets – 20–1875 kVA Designed for industrial-scale biogas power generation projects, such as wastewater treatment plants, landfill gas recovery, large livestock farms, food and beverage wastewater projects and larger waste-to-energy power plants. This range can be configured for longer running hours, CHP heat recovery, grid-connected operation, synchronizing control and multi-unit parallel systems.

Depending on the project requirements, Enerzip can provide open type, silent type and containerized biogas generator sets. Optional systems include ATS, paralleling control, grid synchronization, remote monitoring, gas train, safety protection system and CHP heat recovery.

For projects with available heat demand, CHP-ready biogas generator sets can help recover heat from engine jacket water or exhaust gas. The recovered heat can be used for digester heating, hot water or process heat, improving the overall energy efficiency of the project.

Before quotation, customers are recommended to provide basic gas data, including CH₄ content, CO₂ content, H₂S content, gas pressure, gas flow rate, moisture condition and siloxane information if available. Required power, daily operating hours, installation environment, altitude, ambient temperature and operation mode should also be confirmed.
