armand was born many years ago in a small village in what is now south america. he was born to two unseelie fae who were considered to be warriors among their kind. both were killed when he was about 10 years old. because of his family’s service, armand was raised in the court with the children of the king and queen of the unseelie; but he always knew that he was not the same as them. they just were not cut from the same cloth. he wasn’t royalty and he never would be. he was the child of warriors however, and he decided that he would make them proud. 

he fought hard and he learned his craft. armand prided himself on his hand to hand combat skills and his hand in faerie magic. he remained close to the royal family, even after gaining his own independence. he became the confidant to the same children that he was raised alongside.

they were forced to adapt as the world changed. much to the dismay of the king and queen. after 3000 years with his clan, armand became insatiable for change. he craved something different. he left to explore. armand has worn a variety of hats over the years but finally found some form of home in 1820 when he came across thorn haven for the first time. he may go from time to time, but he always comes back.
