Biology Study Thought
I just had the most wholesome thought. Your body knows you inside and out, literally every single about you— when you’re hungry and need more nutrients, when you’re tired and need to sleep, what your tastebuds enjoy, how to write and draw and read and process and analyse, how to dance and grow and respire and live - but we don’t really know our bodies. It’s nice to think that my body - my brain, my heart, cells, organs, tissues, get happy when I’m learning biology and anatomy and biochemistry because finally I’m taking the time to learn about it, to understand it. Why it does what it does and how important these processes are for my survival. And honestly this thought doesn’t make the sound of studying for bio finals all so bad. Knowing my body as much as it knows me.
