I personally ran into a similar issue when I did Anasui and ended up just making my own binder. 

An easier alternative to that is to side-bind, and you can find a good tutorial here as well as here

If you don’t want to side-bind, there are a couple more tricks (like using a pair of pantyhose) here

For the love of god, always be safe about binding and never use tape not meant to go on skin.

I’m by no means a doctor, and a quick google didn’t turn up much in the way of stomach pains in particular, nor have I ever had experience with stomach pains from binding. Back and chest pain, yea, especially after 10 hours, but never any problems with the abs region. Followers, any input?

As an aside - were you wearing your binder to bed? Because sleeping in them is definitely emphatically dis-advised by everybody. That’ll heck you up. If your dysphoria’s bad enough that you can’t sleep (and I feel for you if that’s the case) then you may want to look into sleep aids. But don’t wear your binder for sleeping, that’s a surefire way to muck up your lungs (if not, as you discovered, your stomach.)
